Misty Honeybee’s Arts Club

Misty Honeybee’s Arts Club is where I get to share my passion for wellness, creativity, and connection.

I work with local libraries, nature centers, and other community spaces serving families to provide enrichment programming for children and adults of all ages through:

Nature-based Crafting or Activities

Storytelling (sometimes with an instument or handmade puppet)

Music

Movement (dance, yoga, exercise)

Healthy Food Preparation and Cooking Activities

Fiber Exploration (from animal caretaking, harvesting, preparing, and creating with)

I have created music/movement/storytelling programs for use in the summer programming in over a dozen libraries and other community spaces including :

Exploring Outer Space with Storytelling and Songs

Spin a Tale for Me (with my spinning wheel, felted rumplestiltskin puppet, and and angora rabbit)

Movement Makes Us Powerful (including dancing, yoga, tai chi, and some basic calisthenics)

The Fiber Farm to Fiber Arts Connection (with my Angora rabbit and drop spindle)

Yoga and Meditation for Overburdened Minds and Bodies

Renaissance Faire Player (with spinning wheel and rabbit)

I am happy to incorporate music, movement, and storytelling to set up a craft or activity, if it works in the space and program length. This is a fun way to engage the children with the concept, material, or cultural connection.
